By the end of the school year, the space becomes disorganized. As an intern, I found new and innovative ways to make it easier to keep the Fa bLab clean and tidy. This included designing shelving, printing labels, sorting stored projects, and overall reorganization
The FabLab helps assist departments all across campus. We helped construct projects like labels for the on-campus weight room, a chemistry board game for students, shelving for the lower-school campus, and seveal other miscellaneous requests.
Summer FabLab Internship
Along with working in the FabLab over the school year, I worked throughout the summer to assist with summer camps, improving the space for the next year, and working on other requested projects from around the school.
Several summer camps for students both unfamiliar and more experienced were held. I helped incoming students learn the tools, machinery, and software. Students looking to make summer projects entered these camps as well.
